Background
OBIM Fresh-cut Fruit Company's sole mission is to produce the highest quality fresh-cut products anywhere. Their product lines include fresh-cut fruits, vegetables, bistro salads, and a variety of fresh foods.
[Bistro-to-go: Before]
The Challenge
Here is a photo of the initial retail salad bowl before Flipside Design's "Product Launch Design" program. Their initial response to their first retail bowl was that the label design didn't effectively communicate the quality of the product with in, and the ease of its convenience.

The challenge in re-introducing the ready-to-eat "Bistro-to-Go™" Salad meal line was to create a label design that would both entice and visually communicate, without completely covering up the view of the bowl contents. The line was developed for on the go, each salad meal combination included a fork and dressing for added convenience.
The Result
Flipside's design resulted in primarily a clear label design with graphics projecting the dressing and fork. The cute romantic style illustration capturing a cafe bistro setting served to better compliment the "Bistro-to-Go™" brand name. The newly launched salad meal bowls have been well received since their re-introduction.
